Every spring, with help from Nick Utrie and the CACP, we invite music guests and groups to perform free concerts for the entire student body. Guests have included Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Flamenco Triana, Eddie Biebel & AJ Srubas, Lil Rev, and Will Branch.
The Syble Hopp Programs provide educational programming to meet the needs of children with disabilities.
We participate in the Kemps Nickels for Schools program by making sure all of our milk caps go to Syble Hopp.
The New Community Shelter provides emergency and temporary shelter, meals, education, resource referrals, and support to men and women.
We provide coffee and other items that we hope make a small difference in the lives of people who may need the shelter.
A portion of our Good Dog coffee sales go to the Bay Area Humane Society. The Bay Area Humane Society and Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization which promotes the humane treatment of animals.
Yes, we're only one small coffee shop, but we believe we're part of something incredibly important. And when enough people join together in support of free trade buying practices, we can create great change.
